A quick bite, and a healthy alternative – one of my favorite snacks to keep stocked!
1 cup – nut butter of choice
1/2 cup – vegan, plant based protein of choice
1/4 cup – honey or agave
1-2 cups – gluten free oats
Optional – Dark chocolate chips, coconut, chia seeds.
Quick, simple and you may already have all of the ingredients on hand! Zap your nut butter so that it is liquid enough to mix (be careful not to burn!). Add in agave or honey, continue to mix. Slowly add in protein and oats until desired consistency.
These power balls are great to keep on hand in your fridge when you need a quick breakfast, midday boost or simply need to curb a sweet tooth.
