Darling, it’s all about the details.

The small things work together to become the big things. Details of our wedding day.

I am a firm believer that you will never regret doing too much, but you might regret not doing enough. I live for the sentimental, special touches and I knew that I wanted them to be a big part of our day. I will share below some links to the items that worked for us – but first, let’s talk about some of the details and how it came to be.

I have a background in photography, so “how will this look in a photo” typically crosses my mind pretty quickly. In addition to that, I am a sucker for all things thoughtful and cared for, so I wanted every piece of our day to be curated to flow together as one. From ribbon around the bouquets, to each piece of wood being stained the same way, to the naked eye that may not be something you generally pick up on right away, but to me… it was magic!

The point of this post is to not make you overthink the color of wood stain you used, but to open your mind to the idea that the little things truly do work together to become big things. It’s not every day that you get to create magic, but your wedding day is one of those days. Hunt for the pieces that make your heart happy and watch it all fall into place.

Most of our signs were DIY (thanks to my cricut) so I can’t link those, but I will link some of our must have items that we loved so much!

P.S. I also love supporting small businesses, which was another focus when I was shopping around for the special items I envisioned. Not all things came that way, but when I could, I did! Happy shopping!

Love, M
